Worship at Harvest Glasgow

Maybe you have heard the term directionally challenged. It is used to describe people who find it easy to get lost, in fact they have made it an art form. Spiritually, many of us go through life looking around us for the satisfaction and solutions that we crave. We find so much worth in those things that we lose sight of God, giving our worship things that don't just show us that we are lost but increase the problem. We have made this into an art form, we are directionally challenged.

Directionally Challenged

In case you had missed it- worship is a BIG deal for us at Harvest. The songs that we sing go through a grid designed to make sure that as we sing them more than the tune penetrates so that the Biblical truth contained in the lyrics become increasing realities in our lives.

One of my favourite pieces of feedback from people comes when they mention a song that has blessed particularly during one of our services. It's always fun when a new song passes trial by Facebook with some of the lyrics appearing on people's statuses. We long for people to worship in

Spirit - moved by God, towards God

and

Truth - deepening in our understanding of who God is and what God has done.

It's an exciting thing to sing songs to one another and with one another to God and about God. We hope you'll be able to come and join us in doing that some time soon. Here are the songs we are going to be singing over the next few weeks so you can come ready to lift high the name of Jesus in worship.
