Sunday Snapshot

by Scott Hamilton on Friday, 24th February 2012
We all have stuff that finds it place at the centre of the story of our lives. Significant events, trials, joys all play their part in our life story. This Sunday we are going to spend time seeing that behind the scenes of our world God is at work weaving His story into the fabric of our history. The New Testament is really the exploding to the foreground, the making tangible of the thing which was seen in the background and shadows of all that we read in the Old Testament.
On Sunday we are going to see though that God has graciously been giving people like you and me signposts to see Jesus since the world began. And He is still giving us signposts today. So this Sunday we are believing God for great things in your life as we seek to see Jesus more clearly together. We are going to use the song Always by Kristian Stanfill for the first time on Sunday and it speaks of lifting our eyes up because our help comes from the Lord. Well that's our prayer for you, that as we sing to God and about God and as we dig into Acts 7 (yes, all of it) together we will all have a greater and clearer view of Jesus.
