Sunday Snapshot

by Scott Hamilton on Friday, 2nd March 2012
We all love having a story to tell. If we hear something that makes us laugh we make sure to try and remember it so that we can tell it to someone else - if only we could remember the punch line. We enjoy sharing stuff like that with the people around us. In fact there is a level of acceptance that one of the chief ways we communicate will be passing on stuff that we have heard, or has happened to us. Yet when it comes to telling people about Jesus we are strangely reluctant or resistant. People may not expect conversations to turn to Jesus, but they need conversations to turn to Jesus. That's where we are at this Sunday at Harvest Glasgow. We want to be inspired once again by the message of Jesus and the church in Acts who fearlessly and relentlessly invested it in the people around them.
To get ready you can read Acts 8 and listen to last week's message here.
Another way to prepare is to listen to the songs we are singing this Sunday. Below is a video of a song that we are going to reintroduce called 'We Crown You' by Fee (you can download it from iTunes here).
Always – Stanfill
Our God – Tomlin
Be Thou My Vision
Never Once – Redman
Revelation Song- Jobe
