by Scott Hamilton on Thursday, 17th May 2012
So, the big day arrives. our first day in our new venue. Some of us got in to have a look and make some plans on Tuesday evening and leafletted invitations ot the homes around the building. Let me tell you, I am so excited about this next chapter in the life of our church. If you are looking for us and a bit of a backdrop to this weekend you can find it all here.
To add to the excitement we have Pastor Rick Donald from Chicago coming to open God's Word for us. Pastor Rick serves as Assistant Senior Pastor to James MacDonald. Here is a bit more information about him:
How I came into relationship with Jesus Christ
I grew up in a Christian home and accepted Christ at 12 years old. At age 20, God used a crisis to help me see the emptiness in what I was pursuing and my need for him. I rededicated my life. He led me into ministry.
How I came to Harvest
I received a phone call from Pastor James. I was impacted by the heart commitment of the people to see God do something great.
What I do at Harvest
I serve as the Assistant Senior Pastor overseeing the care of the staff, working with the Elders, and leading our training center for future church plant pastors.
Why I do what I do
To see people grow in their desire to know and reflect Jesus in their life.
