New Series- Relentless

This Sunday we begin a new four week series at Harvest Bible Chapel Glasgow. Investing time in the book of Jonah we want to move from our understanding of that book from Sunday School favourite to life-tranforming truth. The reality is that you and I are very much like Jonah, certainly far more so than we often like to think.

Much of our life, and maybe even right now, we find ourselves running from God or resisting God. That's what Jonah did. with quite spectacular consequences. The book of Jonah shows that spectacular consequences are an opportunity to see God's spectacular grace at work in our lives. This is shown most in how faithful God is in pursuing rebels like you and I. How kind God is that He often reveals who He is to us most clearly when we are running from Him most callously.

Maybe you feel far from God right now, maybe God has been showing you that something has to change in your life, maybe you are not even sure why but it seems like God is laying it on your heart to spend more time thinking about Him. We believe that God's Word has something tranforming to say to us every Sunday. So come and spend some time with us as we consider how God gives us what we could never deserve.
