A Picture of the Gospel

We love big church family events. Particularly, we love baptisms. Baptism provides such a rich and vivid picture of how Jesus has transformed a life. We love hearing the stories of how God has been at work in the hearts of people who are so much on our hearts as part of our church. the picture of our sins being buried in the grave (water) with Christ and our new selves being raised to life with Christ is ALWAYS compelling.
On Sunday we had a great opportunity to celebrate just that, using a paddling pool in the front courtyard of the church building overlooked by all our neighbours. Here are some photos of the event (thanks to Amy Hutson for sharing these):
