Christmas at Harvest Glasgow
by Scott Hamilton on Wednesday, 4th December 2013
Christmas is coming at Harvest Glasgow and we wanted to let you know about our Christmas events that are coming up. Our theme for this year is The Missing Peace. We believe Christmas can be the ultimate time of transformation for you and want to encourage you that the gift you are looking for is not one that can be found under a tree. We want you to know that for those of you who are
Looking for peace? He is with us
or
Looking for hope? He is for us
We have two Sunday services at our usual location at the Fotheringay Centre, Pollokshields. They are both at 10:30am.
Our service on 15 December will be our carol and nativity service. You can find the songs we will be singing listed here. We will be getting the kids involved, so if you are planning on bringing the family dress them up as a shepherd, wise man, angel... and of course donkey's are always welcome additions.
Our service on 22 December will have more contemporary Christmas songs. The emphasis at this service will be that the hope you need and often lack can be found in Jesus.
On Christmas Eve we are having a service at 6pm. PLEASE NOTE the venue will be slightly different. We are having that service at Shawlands United Reformed Church, 111 Moss-side Road, Shawlands. This will be a special family service and we would love you to come and join us.
So get those dates in your diary, we can't wait to see you. Merry Christmas!
