We love Christmas at Harvest! It's such an exciting time of year. We are particularly excited about the services we have planned over the next few weeks.

Our theme for our Christmas services this year is 'Come thou Unexpected Jesus: Introducing a Surprising Saviour.' We will be looking at four great needs our hearts have love, joy, hope and peace. Have you ever considered that the joy you need could come from the love of a saviour baby? This time of year allows us to think about what it means to have peace through the hope given by a king born in a stable.

We would love to have you join us to wonder at the baby Jesus. To give you a quick idea of what to expect here is a preview of what is going on:

December 14 at 10:30pm is our Carol & Nativity Service. This is an event for the whooe family. We invite any kids who want to join in to come dressed in nativity costume. We will have carols and readings and think about 'Joy through Love.'

December 21, 10:30am is our contemporary Christmas service. It's less traditional and expresses the excitement of knowing that the Saviour of the World has been born. At this we will be thinking about 'Peace through Hope' (both of which tend to be things people are thinking a lot about at this time of year).

December 24, 6pm is our Christmas Eve service. Come and join us as we pause before Christmas day to worship and think about Jesus and waht his coming means. Please note: this service is not at our usual venue but is at Shawlands United Reformed Church, 111 Moss-side Road, Shawlands, Glasgow.

We can't wait to see you.
