Coming To Harvest in 2017
by Scott Hamilton on Wednesday, 21st December 2016
On Sunday 8 January we kick off a six month long series in Matthew's Gospel. This will be the fourth installment of our studies in Matthew. You can catch up on a couple of those sermon series at our message archive or by clicking below:
Out of the Ordinary
God at Work
This series is going to be called 'How God Works' and is going to look at Jesus' personal ministry and parables in Matthew 12-20. We can't wait to dig into God's Word to get to know Jesus better. We would love for you to come along and join us.
Our third pillar at Harvest Glasgow talks about 'Believing Firmly in the Power of Prayer.' We love opportunities to gather around that idea. So on top of our weekly Sunday morning pre-service prayer gathering and our monthly prayer nights (1st Friday of the month) we try to create a more prolonged opportunity to pray together. That takes the form of prayer weeks. Our first prayer week will be Sunday 29 January to Friday 3 February.
In May we are aiming to have our next series of Launch Team Scotland prayer trips where we go to cities where there might be an interest in, or where we are exploring the possibility of planting further Harvest Bible Chapels. If you would like more information on how to get connected to Launch team Scotland give us a like and drop us a message via our Facebook page.
May is going to be a busy month because on top of the Launch Team Scotland Trips we also have our Spring Sleepover. That is when our whole church family heads off for an overnight together to Auchengillan Outdoor Centre. The dates for this are going to be April 30 - May 1.
And finally, one of our favourite and most fun things we do as a church family is our annual High Five kids holiday club. Fun, games, singing, dancing, craft, and the opportunity to think about what the Bible says about who Jesus is. It is AMAZING! For a snapshot visit our Facebook video page and check out the one tagged as High Five Holiday Club. This year High Five is going to run from Monday 31 July until Friday 4 August from 10-12:30 each day and it is totally FREE!
We would love for you to join us for all these things and so much more that will be going on at Harvest Glasgow in the coming year.
