What you devote your life to will be what your life is defined by. How many of us drift from day to day year to year without being part of or even particularly interested in something that changes anything? The Book of Acts calls us to something different to spend our lives for God in such a way as changes not just something or anything but everything. Here's the deal- if the church believes, and we mean REALLY believes, what God's Word declares to be true then that is designed to be transforming, right?!

Why then are there churches all over the country which appear stagnant, stale and selfish? Why aren't they changing anything or being used to change people? Could it be because they are digging their heels in against being changed by the Gospel in such a way that indicates that the Gospel is not something that is only learned but also distinctively lived out.

Imagine if the church started committing to the things that God is committed to. Psalm 138: 2 says that God exalts two things His name and His Word. Supposing the church started to exist for those things and stopped with all the other things it is wasting its time on. Supposing every river of every activity of every church flowed to this one central point of making God's name known and living God's Word out. That's what we see in Acts, they weren't perfect in these things but they were passionate about them. What we see is that God uses faithfulness to His name and HisWord to produce fruitfulness and that when His people get it AND get after it what happens is Unstoppable!

Join us on Sunday's at Harvest Glasgow as we begin the adventure.
