Cultivating Closeness

Do you find it easier to work with a plan? The reality is that you probably do, you may just prefer not to admit it. Having no plan leads to drifting or disaster and seldom somewhere that you will think- 'wow, I'm glad I am here.' Why would we expect anything less when it comes to worship in the church. Last week we posted the songs that we are singing in the next few weeks. We thought it would be useful to give you a picture of the preparation and planning that goes in to how we put our services together. Our goal is to get people to God, to be aware of His presence and reminded of His promises- we reckon that something like that needs a plan. Here are a couple of videos where James MacDonald explains our philosophy of worship.
