Sunday Snapshot

In a slight change to the published programme Pastor Graham Shearer from Musselburgh Baptist Church is preaching next week not this week (it's a funny story which one day we will tell you). That means we get to round out off on our 3 part Fighting for the Family section of Ephesians. This is part of our Building for Battle series and we hope the last two weeks have been an encouragement to the wives and the husbands who have been at our services or tracked with the messages online. As ever, you can catch up on those messages here, in fact it would be a pretty good way to get prepared for this Sunday. Another way to set yourself up for this week is to read Ephesians 6: 1-4 which is the section of Ephesians we will be looking at together on Sunday. It's going to be a great week looking at what does it mean to be Christian parents and will be a great week to come along or invite someone who is just about to become a parent, is struggling with the responsibility of being a parent, needs some encouragement in being a Biblical parent, or one day hopes to be a parent, or needs to be reminded what it means to have God as their Heavenly Father.
Knowing the songs that we are going to sing before we gather on Sunday morning I know is helpful to folks. It is worth a little time to listen to the songs before you come along, particularly if the song is new or less familiar to you.
