By Name Initiative

Last year a church called Apostles Church New York undertook an intiative that they called the 'By Name Initiative.' Generously they made all the materials for that available to any local church who thought they would benefit from the sdame kind of focus. At Harvest Bible Chapel Glasgow we have 'Sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with Boldness' as one of the four pillars of our church. So this sounds like exactly the sort of thing we would get pretty excited about right?!

So, for the month of March, in the build up to Easter, we are encouraging each one of you to invest some time every day in prayer for one person (or more if you want to make that commitment). That person should be someone who doesn't know Jesus who you hope to be able to connect with so that you can share your story with them about how Jesus has changed your life. Not only do we desire to share Jesus boldly but we are inviting you to believe in the power of God, through prayer, confidently.
