Multiplying Leaders at Harvest Glasgow
by Scott Hamilton on Wednesday, 2nd March 2016
One of the things we are most committed to to is multiplying leaders in the church. Being part of a church plant tends to stretch people to new levels anyway but we want to continue to be intentional about this. We use our men's and women's ministry in particular to equip and grow leaders who know how to handle God's Word primarily.
As of March 2016 we are piloting an Introduction to Leadership course. In the first instance this is going to be piloted alongside our men's ministry with a view to potentially rolling it out wider in the coming months. So if you are a guy who would like to grow as a leader (or a girl who would like to get involved in any future group) we would invite you to get in contact. Either email [email protected] or text 07772966576 with your details and someone will get back to you as soon as possible.

The teaching component will be on a issue of doctrine. Each month will be a brief intro to a doctrinal subject followed by discussion as time allows. A pdf will be circulated with questions for you to answer in preparation. Optional months will have leadership characteristics based upon 1 Timothy 3: 1-13.
Discussion
The discussion component will be on the teaching topic and fruit of your preparation time in the question booklet.
On optional months it will be on a range of aspects or leadership, church life and Christian living.
